When home sick why not start a hospital!

Well Winter has arrived and along with it trips to the doctor and the dreaded cough and cold. So along with real trips to the doctor we set up a hospital in the lounge room.
"Mummy I have a sore leg, you need to fix it"
SO I decided to get a bandage to add to our imaginative play and of course one bandage wasn't enough.

I love that since Nate was very little the doctor has been impressed with how happily and well he does as asked. Happily lets the dr looking in his ears, say aaahhhh, and coughs at all the right times. The Dr kit has definatley been one of our fav props for play.

SO much fun, so much laughter........I love my Job!

I think Princess has about 3 Dr kits floating around our house, which is great as stethoscopes break very easily!

The last time we played things got very dramatic as there was an earthquake that swallowed half the town, so all medicine and food for patients had to be brought in from one of the neighbouring towns! Thank goodness the phone lines were still working :)

Immy loves playing doctors, though she has only ever been a few times in her life! LOL We don't have a drs kit, so her tape measure doubles as a stethoscope and our play scarves as bandages :)
